Accomplish your goals!
Finding the motivation to get started and then accomplishing your goals can be challenging. Sometimes it’s easier to just put things off because we are too focused on the need for perfection instead of daily progress. Here are a few tips to start your week out right, stay motivated and help you stay on track.
1) Set realistic goals – If the bar is too high, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. Choose progress over perfection. Be kind to yourself and don’t get caught up in the comparison game with those around you.
2) Map it out – writing it all down gives you a visual reference to help you feel both accomplished and keep you from getting distracted.
3) Make your goals measurable – set a timeline for progress points and a date for completion. Big goals are measured in small steps.
4) Find a partner – getting your spouse or a friend to hold you accountable that is both truthful and kind will increase your chances of success! Lastly, surround yourself with like-minded people that will encourage you along your path to living your best life.
