Family Bonding
Family Fitness means intentionally keeping your family mentally and emotionally healthy. Here are some bonding exercises that will help you grow closer as a family.
1) Schedule family time periodically. Have a sit-down meal together daily. Once a week have a family game night, movie, order delivery or cook together. Schedule mini family vacays or day-cations several times a year. Everyone bonds when they are doing activities they enjoy.
2) Establish ground rules for family time. Eliminate distractions such as putting away phones or turning off the TV and focus on conversation and interaction through games or other activities.
3) Try new experiences together. Making memories is one of the best gifts you can give your family. Invest in travel, special events, or go places you’ve never been to together as a family.
